We know that to achieve successful and sustained weight loss, a simplistic approach such as 'eat less and move more' does not generally work. eWeightloss can design a weight loss intervention tailored to you, taking into consideration your medical, nutritional and psychosocial needs.

At an initial consultation we consider what nutritional approach is best suited to you, whilst also understanding the role that food plays in your life and also how it may be relied upon for more than just energy.

 

Our range of weight management support options include:

Mindful eating

The mindful eating course, designed by experienced mindfulness practitioners, is an 8-session program which focuses on helping people re-establish a healthy relationship with food and rediscover the joy of eating. A mix of mindful eating exercises, simple meditations, gentle movement and helpful information will lay down the path to a better understanding of your eating.

Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD)

This 12 week group course delivered over 8 sessions relates to the latest evidence for using a Very Low Calorie Diet. You will receive intensive support from a Specialist Dietitian to help you achieve your weight loss goals and keep the weight off for good.

Individual Specialist Dietitian Support

If you would like to develop a more individualised plan you can meet one to one with a highly experienced Specialist Dietitian. Our warm and supportive environment helps you to achieve lasting dietary behaviour change and weight loss.

Wellbeing Consultation

This consultation offers you the opportunity to consider habits which interfere with weight loss. From this meeting you will receive a plan of areas to experiment with change. This can be as a single consultation or over as many sessions as you need to support you whilst you are making changes. This can be in conjunction with other services we offer.

Specialist Clinical Psychology Support

You may have experienced things in your life which have had a significant impact on your physical and/or emotional wellbeing and so extra time to explore this is needed. Individual support with a specialist clinical psychologist is available for you to access at any stage of your weight management journey.
